Our client is currently seeking a Web Developer in Oakland, California. This is highly responsible work maintaining and maturing interactive web site for an Intranet site, expanding the capabilities of an internal MS Projects Web Server instance and integrating MS SharePoint Services into intranet website. The Developer will be responsible for creation of design, development, testing, and maintenance of web sites, pages, applications, and reports. This Developer will meet frequently with staff before and during project to ascertain requirements and also afterwards to train staff in the proper maintenance of web pages and proper use of web applications. General duties will include advising web developers and management on all aspects of web development from technology to functionality to graphics. Skill Set: * Must be proficient in current HTML and HTML5 standards and aware of the differences between all the HTML version standards as adopted by the W3C * Must be proficient in JavaScript and XML. Must be able to write server-side dynamic web pages using ASPX using VBScript / VB * You must be familiar with Active Directory * You must know how to optimize all formats for online viewing * Must be proficient in Microsoft Project Server administration and Microsoft SharePoint Administration Must be proficient in: * Visual Studio.NET, MS SQL Server, and Microsoft Office * Must be able to write and debug code in straight text format, without the help of a GUI interface * A High School Diploma or GED is required * Must have coding experience in Microsoft and SharePoint * You will need to be proficient in the computer applications listed in the 'Job Description'
