A Kforce client is currently seeking contract Helpdesk Technicians to provide quality service and customer satisfaction to user community. Consultant will be responsible for diagnosing, troubleshooting and providing solutions to incidents related to hardware, software on both OSX and Windows platforms. Consultants will field telephone, email and personal requests for technical support providing prompt and thorough solutions. They will be required to maintain a record of work performed and document workarounds where applicable, liaise with third party service providers to ensure work orders are executed to user satisfaction, and work closely with 2nd level support teams to provide solutions, and assist with other duties as required. Required Skills: * 1-3 years of experience providing support in a customer facing support related environment * Knowledge of MS Windows XP and 7 as well as MAC OSX Leopard and Snow Leopard * Knowledge of troubleshooting MAC and OC desktop hardware platforms * Proficiency in installing and troubleshooting MS Office, Adobe products on Windows and OSX Operating Systems * Excellent communication, multi-tasking, and organizational skills * Knowledge of the following skills is a plus: Blackberry Enterprise Server, Juniper SSL-VPN, Symantec Ghost, Symantec Anti-Virus Corporate Edition and basic usage and reporting in Microsoft Systems Center Configuration Manager
