Location: Detroit, MI Duration: 5 months Description: - With general guidance and coaching, designs, plans and engineers servers and/or personal computers. - Supports development teams as they design and maintain systems applications. - Interprets and assesses the logical and physical requirements of systems and applications in relation to hardware, software and operational needs. - Frequently works with project teams to assess and interpret requirements, designs, capacity issues, and data exchange and cross platform conductivity. - 100% Project SPB 13489. - Web Engineering Team. - Apache build/configuration/testing for UAT/Perf test/prod env. - WAS builds/configurations of new app env. - WAS builds/configurations for new Common Services env. - Deployment and testing support of new app env. - System Engineer Specialist will possess hands-on experience with IBM WebSphere Administration (v.7 preferred), and Apache with a strong ability to learn. Required Skills: - Significant creativity is required. - Minimum 3-5 years related experience preferred. - The ideal candidate will also couple this experience with a strong educational background and technical industry certifications.
