Candidates will be responsible for development of capital market applications supporting the fixed income and derivative trading businesses within a development team for the Corporate Investments Technology organization within our client in Charlotte, NC. The position will be responsible for tasks related to architecture, design, development and testing of C#/.NET based Windows components that utilize Microsoft Excel as the primary user interface to support Front/Middle office trading. Required Skills: Strong understanding of Microsoft.NET APIs and associated technology with a minimum of 5 years C# development experience. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Visual Studio 2010. Strong working knowledge of the.NET 4.0 Framework Class Library. Strong working knowledge of XML and consuming Web Services. Strong understanding of multiple threads of execution. Strong working knowledge of Visual Studio Tools for Office (VSTO) - particularly for Excel. Working knowledge of Excel - especially it's object model. Experience with Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF) and XAML. Good working knowledge of SQL, ODBC, and ADO.Net. Good understanding of the object-oriented paradigm, design patterns and proper class design. Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team. Experience in Software Development Life Cycle methodologies, especially Agile methodologies. Be proactive, problem solver who can work with minimum supervision when given a goal. Excellent oral and written communication skills, analytical skills, and a highly professional attitude. Preferred Skills: Very strong knowledge of Capital Markets Products (Fixed Income, Interest Rate Derivatives, FX), Trading environments, and Front/Middle/Back office processes are preferred. Experience with TIBCO Enterprise Message Services (EMS) or TIBCO Rendezvous (RV). Understanding of a Service Oriented Architecture (SOA).
