Our client, located in Wilmington, Delaware, is seeking Junior Banking Project Manager to perform the following duties: Leads technical projects from initiation through implementation including phases such as planning, analysis, design development and implementation; a project is defined as a unique endeavor with a defined end result that requires project management skills to deliver successfully Establishes project requirements, priorities, and deadlines Ensures project is completed in accordance with all Risk, Architecture and other relevant firm wide guidelines Coordinates resources (staff, equipment, vendors and consultants) across one or more projects Responsible for coaching and mentoring less experienced team members Manages budget for assigned project(s), monitors project progress and adjusts resources and priorities accordingly. Role may also include people management responsibilities. Lead several teams that may cross project boundaries, but typically will be responsible for both deliverables and projects Proficient in the following: Project Task Estimation Resource Scheduling Risk Management Issue Management Adherence to Standard Project Lifecycle Budget/Financial Management including Business Case completion Evaluation of impact to Total Cost of Ownership for multiple simultaneous, complex projects Qualifications: 3 to 6 Year PM Role Advanced communication skills MS Project experience is a must Ability to work across multiple lines of business (sell and push peers and other management teams/candidate will be following up on a list of Issues with Multiple Business Lines to complete and close projects) Must have strong tracking skills and proven experience in generating Weekly Status Reports that will be read at a peer and higher level within each line of business Banking Industry experience is a Plus/Credit Card Experience is a Plus Issues Tracking experience is a Plus Incident Management experience is a Plus
