Senior Software Engineer/ Tech Lead – C# Application Development Full time or contract San Mateo, CA Responsibilities: The engineering team is looking for highly qualified and experienced software professionals, to design and develop the next generation of its desktop-based video conferencing soft-phone applications. The ideal candidate is an energetic, proven contributor with experience in the design, and development of applications implemented in C# using the .NET framework. S/he will have a demonstrable track record as a senior contributor and as someone who can take ownership of the design and development effort. S/he will have passion for developing cutting-edge software applications, user interfaces and integrating with third party API. Must-have qualifications and skills: A B.S. degree (or higher) with 8 or more years of experience, at least 3 of which are in C# Experience with Microsoft Windows application development, using Visual Studio.NET Experience with the usage of WPF, XAML and .NET framework is a must Experience and aptitude for UI development are required Experience with object oriented design and development Exposure to multi-threaded programming, on Windows platforms Nice-to-have (highly desirable) skills: Experience with C++ and Microsoft COM technologies Experience with installers using WiX would be an added bonus Some experience with software for audio/ video soft-phones or other multimedia applications Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with geographically dispersed teams
