Windows Mobile Developer (3 openings) Contract to Hire Suitland MD Job Description: Our client has a great opportunity for 3 Windows Mobile Developers. Qualified candidates will be working with our customers to design and implement solutions for both consumer and enterprise mobile applications. This position requires an extremely dynamic, enthusiastic, and creative individual who enjoys working in a collaborative environment for the production of polished mobile applications. Requirements: Position Description Participate in design and code reviews, documentation of design, implementation of methodologies to ensure high quality Assist in data modeling processes Trouble shoot performance issues on application backends & databases Design, code, and test new features and functionality based on requirements provided Design software maintenance and bug fix procedures Technically hands on Able to code in C# and/or C++ and VC++ Have scripting and database experience Should be involved in designing to development stages Constantly learning and adapting new technologies Work with Architects to Develop the High Level Design Research & track developments in the mobile and application segments Required Work Experience/Skills and Education (please ensure years of experience in key areas is defined): BS or MS in Comp Science or Engineering preferred Customer consultative experience required Proven strong innovative and analytical ability with extensive implementation skills Must be a team player, and have excellent communication skills Attention to detail, and a commitment to quality work 6-8 years of experience as a developer Experience with distributed application development, including creation of SOAP/REST services and/or messaging systems Deftness at Object oriented design and system architecture for mobile devices and wireless systems Solid coding practices including good design documentation, unit testing, peer code review and a preference for Agile development methods Minimum of 5+ years of experience in programming in C++ and/or C#. -Should be strong in VC++ and .net technologies Must have advanced level knowledge and hands on experience of the language and associated aspects Good knowledge of algorithms & data structures Excellent programming and debugging skills Experience of independently designing and delivering subsystems of a larger solution Experience in product development environments and knowledge of tools such as Subversion, Trac etc is a plus
