Portfolio Accounting Java Developer Client s Portfolio Accounting teams provide a broad range of highly specialized software, business process services and application service provider solutions and deliver mission-critical processing for investment management, analysis, trading, accounting, reporting and compliance Responsibilities: Develop software to support client s portfolio accounting application, specifically fixed income products Work in a structured environment to develop products using standard software engineering practices Work with end-users to define requirements and deliver solutions Document products for end-user consumption and maintenance efficiency Guide and mentor other developers in project work QA the work of other team members Analyze requirements to design highly usable and efficient solutions Maintain and support existing applications Produce and maintain documentation on IT processes Required Skills: 3-5 years experience in RDBMS (SQL Server, Sybase) designing, organizing, and consuming 3-5 years experience in Perl and UNIX shell scripting 3-5 years experience with Informatica or other ETL tools 3-5 years experience with web development CGI, HTML, Java-script, IIS is a plus 3-5 years experience in Java and Eclipse Professional development experience with significant projects Capable of working independently with demonstrated attention to detail Hard working and self motivated Excellent analytical and communication skills Excellent software engineering skills (QA, ACM, SCCS, Deployment) History of projects requiring application and system integration BS, MS in Computer Science or similar discipline Princeton Information is one of the nation's top five privately-held IT consulting firms, in business since 1985.
