They have a need for a highly motivated, high-performing, customer service-oriented individual, who hands on database development skills.They have a need for Database Developer/Analyst.Responsibilities:Using MS-Access and Excel design, develop, test, and debug new and existing reporting applications for multiple business partners in a retail real estate environment.Create stored procedures and complex queries to extract, calculate and manipulate data in and for a MS SQL based data warehouse. Design, implement, and test database schemas. Define, maintain and modify data connections between the Data Warehouse and all new and existing Access and Excel applications. Work closely with business partners to translate their reporting needs into effective reporting tools. Own deliverables of tasks making sure his/her work is on time and on target. Troubleshoot data integration and coding issues and bugs. Integrate in-house developed reporting tools into collaborative environments including SharePoint 2010 and MS Azure. Develop a solid understanding of the retail real estate business process & how data/information is used by the business. Develop a deep knowledge of how to successfully translate business needs into reporting output. Develop and hold informational training sessions on the use of new tools and data systems. Requirements: BS/BA in Computer Science, Business, or related degree and/or 5+ years work experience in applications development. (Commercial/retail real estate experience helpful!) Advanced experience in MS Access development working with Forms, Queries, SQL and multi-part ReportsAdvanced experience in VBA development including ODBC, ADO and DAO. Experience in database management systems. (MS-Access, MySQL, MS-SQL) Solid Excel VBA skills preferred. Experience in any of the following including SharePoint, Cloud development: AWS or Azure, PHP, XML, WordPress or Web based development using content management systems a plus! Strong analytical and problem solving skills and a proven ability to interpret and synthesize data. Must be able to manage multiple projects and prioritize workloads. Excellent written, oral, and formal presentation skills. Exceptional interpersonal skills required including flexibility and a willingness to learn from others.
