Overview: Client is seeking an experienced SQL Server SSRS Architect who will work closely with a team of SSRS report writers, SSIS developers, data modelers, data and business analysts to design and implement SSRS reports and cube analytics. Prefer to have someone with both SSRS and SSIS skills. Focus is on SSRS skills as strongest skill. The role requires the candidate to understand complex, large scale data models for an enterprise system and the underlying business processes and produce reports in various formats. In addition to report development, the role also requires to be efficient in creating SSIS packages and routines to extract, transform load data. Requirements: Must have 5+ years designing & Architecting reports with SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS), BIDS (Business Intelligence Studio) and Visual Studio(2005/2008) and creating ETL packages using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) Ability to create ETL packages to Extract, Transform and Load Data using SSIS Ability to perform report design, development and delivery based on user feedback, functional and technical requirements Demonstrated understanding of SDLC's and use of revision control systems such as VSS, TFS or SVN Ability to express business and technical concepts clearly and concisely both verbally and in writing Experience in the Healthcare industry Microsoft SharePoint 2007/2010 experience will be nice to have Collaborate with various functional business units to gather reporting requirements. Create ad-hoc and automated reporting solutions. Knowledge of software development life cycle {SLDC} Must be able to interface effectively with all levels of the organization. Must have excellent interpersonal skills and be strong and effective communicator Good writing skills and ability to multi task in the support of this project.
