Preferred:  Government, Legislative or Health Industry project experience  Experience with Department of Health systems a plus  Experience with Medical Systems requested  Experience with Licensure Systems  Experience with the designing of web-based or client-server applications Required:  Experience in formal large scale project management 8+ years required  Extensive experience in managing successful, large-scale IT projects that includes software analysis, design and programming  Extensive experience with User Acceptance Testing methodologies and documentation  Ability to develop and maintain detailed project plans (work breakdown structures)  Extensive experience with meeting facilitation and documentation  Experience creating and presenting internal and external status reports and detailed status reports suitable for presentation to the Legislature or Steering Committee  Ability to lead the project team and effectively conduct the project to meet project objectives  Experience in delivering the project in the agreed schedule, to the correct technical specification (i.e. defined to meet user requirements) within the approved budget and other specified criteria  Excellent verbal and written communication skills  Group facilitation for business and systems analysis 3+ years required  Ability to communicate effectively with technical and user staff Education/Experience:  Bachelor of Science, Computer Science or Management Information Systems or equivalent.  15 years of project management experience; 8 years managing large scale enterprise projects  Certified Project Management Professional (PMP)  Certified Public Manager (CPM) or Certificate in Supervisory Management (CSM) or equivalent  5+ Years direct experience large scale enterprise computer infrastructures.  5+ Years direct experience with application development techniques and methodologies  5+ Years direct experience with application server development technologies
