We are seeking a Javascript/HTML5 developer to help us create a cutting edge video player showpiece for our high-traffic, niche video site. This player should provide an HTML5 video front end with a robust feature set to match our existing Flash player. The player should be cross-platform, with an attractive and complete user experience. We are a small team of developers looking for a highly competent front end developer to code this player from the ground up (i.e., without video.js or the like) with well documented, neatly structured code following community-established coding standards. All source code will be stored and owned by the client, no copyrights will be retained by the developer. This is a remote / telecommuting contract job.
