Design Strategy's direct client is looking for an experience Business Analyst/Product Manager. They will be working on a major implementation involving requirements associated with enhancements required by the Cost Basis Reporting (CBR) regulations imposed by the Emergency Economic Stablization Act of 2008. This person will be responsible for researching and accurately documenting functional requirements, with emphasis on development of use cases, for high priority projects for this client's application for Tax compliance. Job Requirments: Experience in writing business and functional requirements (BRD's and FRD's), including use of case development Must be a SME in the principals of Fixed Income and Options Superior analytic skills and the ability to express results clearly and accurately in writing Strong verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills Excellent organization skills, attention to detail and the ability to meet project deadlines Background in the financial services field, including a basic understanding of brokerage processing, cost basis reporting and corporate actions. Responsibilities: Work closely with various project stakeholders (both internal and external) to determine system specifications for changes driven by regulatory requirements and client requested enhancements. Internal stakeholders include internal Product & Project Managers, Product Development and Product Assurance. External stakeholders include company software clients. Create functional requirements and associated use cases. Coordinate requirements walk throughs and sign-offs, verifying with stakeholders that use cases and process models accurately portray specific business needs. Write new or update existing system documentation, including user guides, client bulletins, etc. Participate in software system testing Analyze defects identified both internally and by company clients Provide written status reports of progress to the project leaders
