Our client requires a CDM Co-ordinator for a prestigious project near Swansea, in South Wales. Duties include: *Ensuring that the Principal Contractor is competent; *Advise and assist the client with their duties *Notify details of the project to HSE *Co-ordinate health and safety aspects of design work and co-operate with others involved with the project; *Assessing the Principal Contractor's Construction Phase Plan for adequacy; *Liaising and facilitate good communication with the Client, the Designer and the Principal Contractor throughout the project *Liaise with the principal contractor regarding ongoing design work; *Ensuring that the Health and Safety File is prepared/updated at the end of works. Essential requirements: *Have proven experience and a background within CDM Co-ordination *Have experience on large scale civil's projects *Be available to start within a week (please inform me if you availability is slightly longer). Duration: *3 month contract with the potential to extend.
