I am working with my Hertfordshire based client who are currently seeking a contract Mechanical Design Engineer with experienced Solidworks skills to join their team. My client design and manufacture test and measurement products. The ideal candidate for this Mechanical Design Engineer - Solidworks role based in Hertfordshire will have experience with 2D and 3D drawings. The candidate will be responsible for the design change control on existing products, changing drawings and BOM's for improvement, general change and regulatory compliance. Majority of the work will be in 2D CAD so ME10 is preferred but will consider AutoCAD also. Candidate needs to be a self starter and take full ownership of allocated work.
