As Operating Group Management Accountant you will directly support the Operating Group Financial Controller to support my clients Water & Environment business. It's a role that will see you assuming a number of responsibilities, everything from supporting in the production of timely and accurate management information every month, to performing balance sheet reconciliations and supporting the Management Accountants. With a focus on working capital you'll control the administration profit centre and will need an understanding of SAP to assist in process control across the Operating Group. Tasks include; Assist in preparation of weekly and monthly reporting in line with Group procedures and timetable. Balance sheet reconciliations and assist Management Accountants where applicable. Working Capital focus, including reporting and liaison with Shared Service Centre. Control of RI Admin profit centre, preparation of management accounts plus budgets/forecasting. About you; Qualified accountant with a demonstrable and proven track record in a similar environment. The ability to explain financial data to senior management. Strong operational focus and good interpersonal skills. Strong variance analysis capability and a proven competency to produce and interrogate Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet accounts. Excellent Excel abilities and experience of working with SAP.
