Job Title: QA Analyst - Mobile Applications Job Location: St. Petersburg, FL Job Duration: Contract, 4 months with possible extension Job Overview: Quality Assurance Analyst(s) with experience testing Mobile applications. Knowledge of retail / ecommerce features is required. The person must be able to work in a fast paced environment, on multiple projects and with minimal direction. This is an excellent opportunity to work on leading edge mobile applications but is a challenging role. Job Requirements : · 5 or more years of software testing experience, strong knowledge of ecommerce · 1+ years testing Mobile applications, preference in retail industry · Experience in performing functional, integration, and regression, performance, and security testing · Must be analytical, thorough, and have a high attention to detail · Displays strong teamwork, communication, multi-tasking and problem solving skills · Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills with all levels of management · Proven ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships · Demonstrates a strong knowledge and understanding of business needs · Ability to effectively adapt to and apply rapidly changing technology to business needs. · Excellent communication skills, including the ability to write documentation and to produce test plans · Effective time management and organizational skills are required · Must be highly motivated and able to work independently when required. Required Technical Skills: · Experience in dealing with SQL databases, including ability to write basic SQL queries · Working knowledge of HTML, XML, API and JavaScript, applications · Experience working on web-based, database driven systems · Experience with web services · Working knowledge in an Agile methodology · Working knowledge of usability testing and user acceptance testing a plus, but not required. · Familiarity with Mercury automated test tools (Quality Center, QTP and Business Component Testing modules) strongly preferred, but not required. · Must be familiar with problem tracking/reporting. Job Responsibilities: · Develop test plans and scripts from functional and business specifications. · Execute test cases and scripts · Report test results · Identify and document software faults and interacts with development staff to isolate and resolve testing issues. · Participate in daily project team meetings. · Help to identify requirement deficiencies, risks and performs gap analysis. · Participate in release to production and post-production validation.
