Our Pacific Northwest-based Client has an excellent opportunity available and seeking sharp and experienced Software Development Engineer in Test to join their team. We need a top performing SDET to join our team in developing our world-class Terminal Operating System logistics solution. You will write automated tests and support the existing test infrastructure, including the development and maintenance of automation technologies for a variety of products using C# and the .Net framework. You must thrive in a varied, fast paced environment. Flexibility and tolerance is a necessity. Responsibilities * Collaborate with Development and Product groups to build and manage the overall test process, according to the Agile Scrum methodology. * Design and implement automated tests to ensure the adequate coverage for fixes and regression-free deliverables engaging users and other stakeholders. * Work with QA and Development to define automated test practices and procedures. * Maintain and enhance a large and varied suite of existing C# .Net automation and tools. * Use tools to improve code coverage, identify performance issues, and improve overall product reliability. * Ability to Investigate and analyze customer software problems and perform Debugging and Root Cause Analysis of product failures. * Continuously improve your knowledge of software engineering best practices and the intermodal transportation industry. Education and Experience * Bachelor*s degree in Computer Science or equivalent. * Four years of C# or C++ testing experience. Required * Self-directed and capable of working effectively in a dynamic environment. * Excellent communication (oral and written), interpersonal and organizational skills. * Experience with nUnit or similar unit testing frameworks. * Experience with client/server and multi-threaded applications with concurrent users. * Strong reasoning and problem solving ability. Desirable * Experience with Oracle SQL, PL/SQL. * Experience with Virtual Machines. * Knowledge of Container Terminal environment, equipment, work practices and operations. * Familiarity with test automation frameworks.
