Maintenance Fitter / Mechanical Site Services Mechanical Engineering Derby 3-6 Months Immediate Start Are you a Maintenance Fitter from a Mechanical Engineering Machinery background, interested in working for a leading engineering company in the Derby area? This role due to workload is initially offered on a temporary contract basis for 3-6 months however, could potentially be longer term / permanent. The Company:- * Are a world leading engineering company, developing and manufacturing high quality products renowned worldwide, supplying a variety of industry sectors * Have been established for over 100 years and export to over 40 countries The Job:- * Working as part of the Site Services Engineering Team, responsible for providing maintenance cover to the whole site including refurbishment of plant & machinery * Responsible for looking after all buildings and facilities on a site which is 1/3 mile long and incorporates over 100 buildings/units * Duties may also include replacing windows, clearing and replacing guttering, unblocking drains and general site maintenance Hours of work:- Monday to Thursday 7am-5pm The Suitable Candidate:- * From an Engineering Manufacturing background and a wide range of engineering / fitting skills * Buildings or Site Services or Facilities Management background is ideal * Knowledge of a range of plant / equipment including presses, lathes, millers, pipework, mixing equipment etc would be advantageous * Time Served Engineer or equivalent * Flexible to carry out a variety of maintenance support work, to alleviate the busy engineering team We are immediately selecting for interview, so if you are interested please apply via the job board ASAP, or email your CV to jane.sutton@jenrick.co.uk Jenrick Engineering always has a wide range of contract and permanent engineering jobs available within the UK
