BridgeView IT is seeking a Jr. Project Manager for a 6 month plus contract with one of our top clients.  This role is located in Montvale, NJ.  Contractor benefits are available for this position which includes national plan options for medical, dental and vision insurance, as well as a matching 401K plan.   Our client is specifically looking for a Junior Project Manager that will be gathering business requirements from both users and developers and will be supporting the lead Project Manager. This candidate will also have an understanding of SharePoint.  If you feel you’re a match and want to learn more, call Karin at 908-320-4806.   REQUIRED SKILLS   ·          Bachelors degree from an accredited college/university is preferred ·          Strong experience in organizing, prioritizing, and planning projects from definition through implementation, involving internal personnel and consultants.  ·          Experience that includes application development, package implementation, infrastructure and IT transformation projects ·          Comprehensive knowledge of full lifecycle project management, software development, and infrastructure deployment methodologies and industry best practices. ·          Experience building collaborative environments, teaming cultures, and customer service mindset among project teams. ·          Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact with various levels in an organization     JOB OVERVIEW   Consult with internal customers on project initiation statements, project definition reports, business cases and benefits realization estimates. Will assist lead Project Manger with work plans and work programs, including estimates and resource requirements. Incorporates industry best practices, conducts internal and external benchmarking and establishes standards, key measures, and metrics. Communicate project status and be the project advocate. Establish positive and collaborative relationships with customers and demonstrate clear understanding of both internal and external customer requirements and measurement criteria. Work with lead Project Manager by participating and facilitating post project/phase reviews.
