Experis a Manpower Company is seeking a Sr. Java Developer for one of our leading clients in the District of Columbia, MD. Candidate must also be able to pass a security background check, including a credit check. All qualified candidates MUST be able to obtain a clearance prior to starting. The clearance is comparable to a Public Trust level. Candidates with a minimum of an active Public Trust clearance are preferred. RESPONSIBILITIES: Assists in the design and coding of applications products. Prepares comprehensive test plans. Conducts tests. Identifies and debugs relatively simply problems. Provides test results and recommends more complex corrections to senior developers. Codes enhancements and supports features. Participates in writing product and user documentation. Typically requires knowledge of one or more systems architectures such as client/server and distributed processing. Typically requires a degree in computer science, electrical/electronic engineering, math, physics, or an equivalent discipline, and 5-7 years of applications development experience. Candidate must be able to obtain a Public Trust. REQUIRED SKILLS AND KNOWLWDGE: Strong Programming skills in Oracle ADF, JSF Faces, J2EE, JSP, Struts, Servlets, Beans, HTML, JDBC, XML and JavaScript. Strong experience designing, coding, testing and deploying portal systems using Oracle Portal 11g systems Experience with Oracle SOA 11 g components including BPEL, OSB, BAM Strong experience developing J2EE/Web applications using any combination of Web Logic, JBoss, Web Sphere or Tomcat application servers Experience creating portlets using JSR 168 standard and deploying on the Oracle Portal systems. Excellent knowledge of XML, creating routing services using WSDL, create transformation maps using XSL Strong experience with Oracle PL SQL, distributed technologies, Frameworks and Application servers Experience with all phases of a project lifecycle development process (analysis, design, code, test, migrate). Experience with SVN version manager and Jira tools. Create and maintain documentation of installation, administration and troubleshooting procedures Participate in QA cycles and quickly turning-around identified defects Desired Skills: Candidate is familiar with ORACLEs SOA integration platform, which includes Oracle WebCenter 11g, Oracle SOA Suite 11g, Oracle UCM 11g, Oracle ADF Suite 11g, Oracle OAM 10g, Oracle IDM 11g, Oracle Database 11g. Experience with all phases of a project lifecycle development process (analysis, design, code, test, migrate).
