Sr. Financial Analyst
Please note this is a 1 year contract position. The Senior Financial Analyst role for the WW Financial Systems Department will primarily focus on supporting various aspects of multiple financial systems projects. This position will directly report to a Sr. Financial Analyst of the WW Financial Systems Department. The responsibilities include coordinating, supporting, and leading assigned phases of the SDLC project management methodology for client, Business partners will include global finance business teams, global finance management, global IT team, IT and business compliance, and PMO. The Senior Financial Analyst will: Lead assigned phases and tasks of multiple financial systems projects (this will include but is not limited to collaborating with WW finance business partners to document current business processes, gather new business requirements, and perform gap analysis); Evaluate system solutions and process efficiencies; Partner with the Information Technology team to understand proposed solutions and communicate with all relevant parties to align on a final solution; Lead the documentation process for proposed business processes; Continue to partner with IT and finance business partners as functionalities are developed and tested by IT; Orchestrate the entire user acceptance testing process including identification of testing scenarios, writing detailed test scripts, and the execution of test scripts by end-users; Manage defects (logging, resolution, re-testing) as a key component of successful completion of all testing; Prepare training material and assist in delivering training to end-users; Provide Go live support and post implementation user support to ensure a high-level of success for projects. Other responsibilities will include refining processes, enhancing system capabilities such as macro driven MS Excel models, MS Access usage, SharePoint sites, and other technical solutions as needed. Qualifications / Requirements: A Bachelors degree in finance, accounting, information systems or minimum of 5 -7 years of experience complementing the job requirements is mandatory. A graduate degree in finance or information technology is preferred. Experience in creating detailed business process flows (as-is and proposed), business process gap analysis, prepare project documentations, and user acceptance testing is desirable. Working experience in finance and accounting is required to understand the impact to the projects and tasks. Working knowledge of SAP ERP, SAP BI/BW, WinShuttle scripting, SharePoint workflows, and collaborating with global business partners is necessary to be successful in this role. Excellent time management and organizational skills are required to keep up with timely delivery of various tasks and keeping projects on schedule. Interpersonal skills are required to interact with all levels of management and non-US business partners where English is a second language. Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, MS Access, and excellent verbal and written communication skills are required. Additionally, a working knowledge of Visual Basic and/or C++ is desirable. Other qualifications include strong problem solving skills, attention to details, ability to prioritize and plan effectively, collaborating skills with several levels up and down in the organization, following-through directives, and presentation & communication skills at all levels of the organization.
