Scope of Duties: The Data Analyst and Report Developer will assist the City with the iVOS implementation. The contractor will be responsible for ensuring that the deliverables meet the expectation of the business users. Duties will include, but not limited to: Assist with review of standard iVOS reports and mapping to current reports Analyze and document custom report requirements Develop custom reports using iVOS Reporter tool Analyze and document custom correspondence templates Develop custom correspondence templates in iVOS Use iVOS Reporter tool to generate outbound interface files Set up and assist in troubleshooting interface file transmissions Participate in conversion data mapping and assist with identifying/resolving related issues Review data for compliance with iVOS standards Develop tools for data validation and clean-up Coordinate data clean-up efforts Assist with iVOS Scheduler set-up Participate in testing Assist with developing training materials Requirements: The contractor must be proficient in the following skills and knowledge to perform this work: A minimum of ten years experience in project management and / or business analysis for business applications systems Experience related to the implementation of Commercial Off The Shelf (COTS) business applications ·Experience in managing a team of technical and non-technical staff developing custom or configuring off-the-shelf software. ·Experience documenting processes and requirements that can be understood by both IT and business stakeholders Experience with report writing tools Experience with data transmission via SFTP Experience with data mapping, conversion review and data cleanup, including development of facilitating tools (e.g., Access database) ·Ability to quickly learn the business rules unique to the City, to apply existing experience to the City environment Very strong analytical skills Very strong oral and written communication skills Very strong facilitation and coordination skills Proven ability to be flexible and do what is needed to ensure that the project stays on track Knowledge of workers' compensation processes and regulations is desirable If interested and meet the requirements please respond with your resume and expected hourly rate as soon as possible
