Title: IT Infrastructure Operations Manager Location: Cary, NC Description: Job Responsibilities: Roles and Responsibilities: 1. Must have 10+ years of experience in Infrastructure Operations Management and at least 3 years of experience in Project Management. 2. Expertise in managing operations following the ITIL processes – Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, Capacity Management etc. 3. Experienced in IT projects planning, execution and control. Must have expertise in Reviewing projects progress / performance, establishing milestones and ensure delivery on time. 4. Must have strong technical background and worked in both onsite and offshore locations for USA and UK clients. 5. 8+ years of working experience in administration and management of at least 4 technologies – Windows OS & AD, Exchange, Citrix, VMWare, UNIX (AIX, LINUX), Storage (EMC, Netapp & IBM Products), Network Data and Voice (Avaya & Cisco), Middle Ware (Tomcat, Apache, JBOSS) and Security (Firewalls and EndPoints) 6. Experience in people management with a team of at least 25 members – Resources management, Quality review, work load analysis, future goal setting, performance review etc. 7. Must have experience in customer management as well as vendors management, services review with customer - DSR, MOR, WOR. 8. Wintel Lead would be responsible to maintain the agreed upon SLAs. Dynamic skills in managing the outage situations and analytical enough for driving the RCA and RCR. 9. Experienced in running audits, finding gaps, automating and streamlining the processes. Education and Experience: • Degree in computer science or equivalent • 10+ years of experience in IT Infrastructure services management • ITIL foundation certified • MS Certificate – MCITP/MCSE • CCNP Certified • Storage Certification - SCSP, SCSE, SCSN-E • CXA Certified – Citrix XenApp Implementation 5.0 & Above • VMware Certified Professional on vSphere • Managed clients directly for distributed service delivery • Excellent Communication skill • Project management certification • Managed projects on continuous improvement • In depth technical skills on at least 4 areas – Windows OS & AD, Exchange, Citrix, VMWare, UNIX (AIX, LINUX), Storage (EMC, Netapp & IBM Products), Network Data and Voice (Avaya & Cisco), Middle Ware (Tomcat, Apache, JBOSS) and Security (Firewalls and EndPoints • Global cultural awareness is required • Managed virtual teams distributed across geographies Send response to jobs@iapposite.com
