SharePoint Developer We are seeking a candidate for a long term contract position in Alpharetta, GA to be responsible for development and configuration of SharePoint across the enterprise.  This role would include administration of SharePoint security/rights, integration with Active Directory, creation of New Sites, modifications to existing content and “presentation” of existing sites, as well as configuration and administration of the infrastructure necessary for optimal SharePoint performance.  The ideal candidate will have all the skills necessary as listed below, would have excellent communications skills, be able to work independently and be able to work with upper management and the business to make sure all needs were being met.  The candidate should have a strong sense of ownership and be willing to work in a very fast paced dynamic environment. Job Responsibilities Install and maintain MOSS 2007 server farms Installation, configuration and deployment of corporate SharePoint system Plan, configure and deploy SharePoint collaboration sites including implementation, testing and maintenance Design portal components (Web Parts), InfoPath forms, customizations, and integration with third party solutions Collaborate with business personnel to define requirements for projects Troubleshoot and resolve issues Maintain SharePoint security Operational management of Portal Server Farm Content management of new portal sites, Web Parts, InfoPath forms and other custom content Index propagation management Document library management Creation of portal application pools Operational Support Skill Requirements 3-5+ years technical SharePoint experience –administration, configuration and design Knowledge and experience with Content Management methodologies and procedures Ability to work independently and take ownership of responsibilities and follow through on tasks Proficient installing, configuring and maintaining MOSS 2007 server farms Must have designed and deployed multi-server SharePoint environment Proficient managing SharePoint sites and managing security for a complex SharePoint installation Excellent knowledge and experience at integrating SharePoint into Active Directory and Exchange Proficient with Windows Server 2003 Any related certifications are a strong bonus   Complimentary Skills (NOT required) Develop and enhance SharePoint based web applications Develop programming specifications, logic flow charts, and process diagrams Proficient in developing Web Parts, InfoPath Forms and other SharePoint customizations Experience in setup, configuration and administration of MS Project Server
