POSITIONS OPEN AS OF AUGUST 29. Large healthcare organization in San Bernardino has 6+ month contract positions open for .NET Developers with Web Services background. ONLY CANDIDATES LIVING IN SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA CAN BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION. Under direction of the Applications Support Manager, the .NET Developers will analyze requirements, design, document and implement computer software to interface with, and extract data from, a commercial HMO package ; plan, code, test, and document new and existing application programs using 4th-generation languages and tools in a client/server environment. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Analyze existing or proposed work processes to determine feasibility for automated adaptation; document and prepare written reports detailing the analysis performed. 2. Adapt purchased software systems to conform to hardware constraints and user requirements. 3. Develop and maintain user instructions, operational instructions, process documentation, and program documentation according to IT group standards. 4. Maintain user applications; monitor and repair production runs; modify, enhance, or add code to correct programs, screens, and reports; respond to emergencies by correcting program malfunctions. 5. Respond to and prepare ad hoc reports/requests as needed. 6. Any other duties as required to ensure the Health Plan operations are successful. JOB REQUIREMENTS: - 2 years programming in native ASP, ASP.Net, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery, Web Services, Visual Basic and .NET required. - Programming PC applications, including PC to Host computer communications, in a network environment. - 2 years working with relational databases such as SQL Server or Oracle. - Experience working in a managed care environment is preferred.
