My client has a requirement for Systems Programme and Project Managers, to support a major clien t, working on a number of projects, outsourcing Information Systems from Local Government and Non-Departmental Governmental Bodies, including project planning and estimating as part of the bid activity, transitioning the client apps / business process to the outsourced Data Centre and handing over the steady state solution. To be successful in applying for one of the Systems Programme and Project Manager positions, a wide range of experience and skills are required, as listed below. It is important to have the ability to demonstrate quantifiable experience in a combination of the following skills and attributes: Programme and Project Management: · Programme and project delivery of IT/IS outsourcing projects and/or data centre migrations · Stakeholder engagement in a complex commercial environment · Business Analysis · Team management · Local Government/Non Departmental Government Bodies experience Technical: · A good depth of IT/IS experience · Data centre technology · Outsourcing transition lifecycle · Requirements Capture · Solution Architecting · Implementation · System Integration and User Acceptance Testing Required Competencies · Project/Programme management methods e.g. MSP, PRINCE2 · ITIL v3 The successful candidates will have SC clearance due to the nature of the work involved for this project. The base location will primarily be Wiltshire, although travel to clients throughout the UK will be required.
