The primary focus of the Mobile Application Developer is to create and maintain new applications for our mobile payment systems, PayAnywhere and PhoneSwipe. The ideal candidate for this position has experience coding in Java and SDK for Android applications and has extensive experience creating applications for Smart phones. Direct Android stack development and integration experience with a strong knowledge of the Android SDK. 5+ years of software development experience with a strong client-server related applications. Familiarity with web transport protocols (HTTP, HTTPS, SSL) Experience with Java, J2EE, C#, or C++ Experience with other mobile platforms or mobile-web development a plus Experience with web browser programming using Javascript, CSS, HTML a plus Deep knowledge of the software development lifecycle, including scoping, planning, conception, design, implementation, deployment and maintenance. Good problem solving skills and ability to meet deadlines is a must.
