Job Responsibilities: We are looking for an experienced software developer to help in support and development of one of our complex engineering suite of applications and tools used by Refineries and Chemical sites globally. - Over 7 years of experience in software development life cycle - Must be an expert in VBA, VB6, VB.NET, SQL, C# software development languages - Competent in SQL scripting, stored procedures and server database administration - Proficient in upgrading from legacy tools developed in old programming languages (e.g. VB6) to more current programming languages and standards (e.g. .NET) - Should have strong interest in learning refinery operations scheduling and other related engineering principles and fundamentals - Ability to apply strong analytical and technical skills to analyze business requirements, business processes and engineering system architecture/design - Good communication skills and ability to interact directly with business clients Skills: Application Design Appliation Development Strong verbal and written communication skills Tools: .NET 3.0 Microsoft SQL Server SQL VB.NET VB Developer Visual Basic for Applications (VBA)
