Business Analyst - Credit Risk
Business Analyst Our client is looking to hire a contact Business Analyst. This is a hands-on position where analytical skills will play a critical role. The position will contribute to, and support efforts including but not limited to systems design, development, integration and support, and process/dataflow automation. The chosen candidate will have an opportunity to contribute to challenging projects and work in an IT group charged with the design, development and delivery of technology solutions serving Global credit, risk functions. Responsibilities The ideal candidate will be engaged in the following primary activities: • Gather, analyze, translate and document business requirements. • Identify, gather and contribute to centralizing mission critical information. • Data validation and documentation • Process, workflow modeling and documentation. • Build strong relationships; work closely with business owners and IT team conceptualizing, designing and executing software development activities. • Gain consensus, sign-off on deliverables and related information. • Testing and user training. • Application support, research, root-cause analysis, problem resolution • Other responsibilities as assigned Qualifications: Experience/Skills: • Minimum 2+ years demonstrated hands-on experience as a Business Analyst contributing to the design and development of technology solutions in-line with business operational requirements, needs. • 1+ years financial industry experience. Commodities trading experience preferred. • Requirements Gathering, Documentation; BRD, FRD, Process and Data Flows. • Microsoft Office 2007+ (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) • Data analysis • Testing, Quality Assurance, Use-Cases • Application and systems support • Ability to travel internationally • Strong Pluses - SQL, VBA - Project Management (Microsoft Project) - Data warehousing - Risk management • Good understanding of SDLC and related activities • Self starter, with strong sense of ownership • Multi-tasking, able to successfully manage competing priorities • Excellent communication. Able to communicate effectively with both business customers and IT peers • Excellent interpersonal skills • Strong attention to detail • Ability to express and communicate ideas and concepts clearly • Excellent team player • Good organizational, coordination skills
