Job Description: A local leading organization that manufactures electronic assembly and specialty materials is currently seeking experienced Machine Operators in Utica for a temporary-to-hire opportunity. The Machine Operator requires you to work with small parts and measure with calipers/micrometers as well as label and package products. Responsibilities for Machine Operators roles include but are not limited to: •Measuring products on scale •Measuring products putting into punch press and cutting into specs •Report defective material or questionable condition to department supervisor •Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition •Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor Candidates must meet the following requirements for consideration: •High school diploma or GED •Ability to follow both written and verbal instructions •Proficient with Window XP •Good hand/eye coordination and fine motor skills performing repetitive motions •Strong data entry skills •Able to work independently and with others •Able to stand for prolonged periods •Able to lift 11-25 lbs •Must work well with others in a loud production environment •Must be able to successfully complete a client specific background check We have openings all shifts (Monday – Friday 7am-3:30pm, 2pm-10:30pm, 10pm-6:30am) Pay for this position is $10.00/hr plus overtime as needed.
