Work involves innovation, development, execution, and verification of control system requirements, architecture, algorithm and software. Independent judgment is used with minimal supervision. Major Job Duties and Responsibilities * Develop and synthesize control feature requirements * Design control algorithms and software for complex systems * Create and utilize Matlab models for algorithm definition * Utilize autocode methodologies for implementation of software design * Utilize plant models for verification of algorithm and control features * Perform feature and integration builds of software * Conduct system-level and unit-level verification and validation testing * Perform Design Failure Mode and Effects ( DFMEA) and Variation analysis * Communicates, coordinates, and consults with engineering departments and customers * Write standardized C+ codes in order to define algorithms Required Skills/Experience * Knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint) * Beginner level * Knowledge of Lotus Notes or other email communication tool * Intermediate level * Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to present/work in group settings * Good verbal communication skills to clearly convey message or project timelines/updates * Good written communication skills to effectively prepare documents for management review and approval * Ability to work well in a team environment - 4 years experience * Strong leadership skills to effectively communication with multiple levels within the organization * Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple projects and heavy work loads * Strong planning skills with the ability to prioritize workload independently * Strong problem solving capabilities to effectively investigate issue and provide resolution * Knowledge of Matlab, Simulink and Autocoding * 2-3 years experience * Ability to write standardized C+ codes to define algorithms * 4 years experience * Knowledge of control system architecture and design expertise * 2 years experience * Position related experience in Engineering * 4 years * Position specific experience in Embedded Controls Algorithm, Software Engineering * 4 years Required Education/Training/Certifications/Licenses * Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Please refer to the position id while applying for this position.
