Web Product Usage Analyst
Reporting to the Senior Manager of Web Analytics, the e-Product Usage Analyst will effectively translate data into meaningful insights for internal and external clients to help drive product development and marketing activities. The e-Product Usage Analyst will extract, enhance, and manipulate usage data to report on customer usage levels and trends for the business, identifying both positive and negative usage dynamics and their underlying causes. The e-Product Usage Analyst will provide recommendations for new methods for evaluating customer success and satisfaction with e-products. Key Responsibilities Provide reporting and in-depth analysis of client’s e-product sites to help guide sales, marketing, and product development activities Identify trends and issues about product and content usage, user experience, search performance, abuse, and other key areas of overall product performance. Identify underlying causes and drivers of these areas and provide analysis and recommendations for enhancement or correction where needed Deliver online customer analyses and reports (i.e. Customer Segmentation, Retention Analysis, Lifetime Value Analysis, Site Utilization, etc.) Provide detailed monthly and quarterly analyses to management Generate specifications for daily, weekly and monthly automated reports and dashboards in the Oracle Business Intelligence platform (OBIEE) Manually prepare weekly and monthly reports (where not automated) using Excel and/or Access as primary tools Requirements Minimum of 2 years work experience in analytics position working with large multi-dimensional data sets in a multi-channel direct marketing environment (corporate or agency) Ability to effectively translate data into relevant insights for stakeholders; Distill salient issues from complex business situations to provide practical, cost-effective solutions Advanced proficiency with Excel (vlookup, sumproduct, if, concatenate, vba macros, pivot tables and charts, slicers, etc.) and PowerPoint; Experience with Access, OBIEE, SPSS, SAS, or Minitab is a plus Experience using web analytics tools such as Unica NetInsight, Google Analytics, Webtrends, Coremetrics, Site Catalyst, etc.
