Position Overview Houston based company is engaged in an enterprise-wide IT program to design, develop, and implement a new suite of applications to replace the existing systems that support a majority of the company’s business operations. This position will be part of a very experienced application design and development team that will use the latest Microsoft technologies to deliver enterprise level applications. The position will be involved in the design and development of the web based portion of the system. An Agile based application development methodology is being used and this position will participate and contribute in all aspects of the application development lifecycle including functional analysis, technical design, programming, testing, and release management. Skills and Experience · 7+ years IT industry experience · 5+ years full lifecycle (SDLC) Microsoft .NET application design and development experience · Demonstrated, in-depth experience with .NET development technologies including Visual Studio, .NET Framework 4.0, C#, ASP.NET MVC and Entity Framework · Demonstrated experience working directly with business teams to identify and analyze business processes and workflows, process integration touch points, and develop system functional specifications · Demonstrated experience with all aspects of application programming including UI design, business rules implementation, and application integration · Preferred experience with Agile and test-driven (TDD) software development methodologies
