ETL programmer Analyst - 12940
Hands-on experience developing ETL programs using Informatica PowerCenter 8.6.1 or higher in UNIX and Oracle 11g environment. In-depth understanding and development experience using SQL and Pl/Sql. 6-10 years related experience with Informatica and strong analytical and SQL skills. Pharmaceutical Healthcare experience a plus. Superior communication skills with the ability to work on a team. Very improtant to be a self starter who will take initiave and does not wait too long to communicate needs to the team. Responsible for designing, developing, modifying, and evaluating programs for internal functional areas in a healthcare datawarehouse environment. Able to comprehend source system business rules and analyzes source system data to determine if data warehouse changes are accurate and complete. Formulates logic for new systems, devises logic procedures, prepares flowcharting, performs coding, and throughly tests/debugs programs. Prepares and obtains approval of system and programming documentation. Recommends changes in development, maintenance, and system standards. Able to communicate well with business users to faciliate good business decisions regarding data implementations. Enjoys challenges and can manage changes in priorities. Team player who will work on a team along side other strong data profressionals. Education: 4-year degree in computer science or related field or equivalent experience Experience: 6+ years of experience in programming on enterprise or department servers or systems Knowledge/Skills: In-depth knowledge of software, documentation, utilities and program scripts, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
