* Security design for IP packet-based network infrastructure and services with an emphasis on attack mitigation. * This assignment will entail security design for IP packet-based network infrastructure and services with an emphasis on DDos attack mitigation. * The candidate will work with lead security designers on attack mitigation infrastructure. * The candidate will be required to setup and conduct tests and analyze test results. * The contractor must be capable of independent design work (with guidance from the team lead), that will be reviewed by the security team prior to deployment. * Job responsibilities will also require documentation, presentation, and justification for proposed design. * The ability to work well with operations staff to resolve field issues is a neccesity. * This position also includes Tier 4 support duties both during and after hours.
