The Background One of the leading manufacturers of the automotive industry is seeking to recruit an Autodesk Inventor Design Engineer for 6 months. This is due to new projects won and the continuous growth of the organisation, as they are expecting to increase their team over the coming year. The Role You'll be working within a team of designers to perform mechanical design and detailing related to automated/special purpose machinery for a variety of industries. You'll be using Autodesk Inventor to design a variety of machinery such as pick & place, handling equipment and conveyors. Experience Ideal candidates will be fluent in Autodesk Inventor with a good all round 3D mechanical design background. Any experience of special purpose/bespoke machinery or automation would be of benefit to this contract.
