We are looking for a senior level business analyst to assist with a software development project. Candidates will work on a large ecommerce application. The majority of work will be with the Software Engineers on the team. This is a contract position for 8 months. The project is related to a large digital audio application. The tool allows users to download and listen to digital content on any device or over the web. In addition, the customer is adding ebooks as an offering. The project involves developing a module to allow users to obtain those books directly through the tool. Candidates will be responsible for: - interviewing stakeholders and gathering requirements - Working with developers on a daily basis to define requirements and document in formal SDLC format. - assist with documentation of change management, assist test team with defining test requirements and documenting the tool. Ideal candidates will have experience with a public-facing ecommerce site,and project experience working with a large integration system. Candidate should have at least 5 years experience with requirements analysis on SDLC projects. Top 3 Skills (stack ranked) : 1 - at least 5 years experience gathering requirements, 2 - at least 5 years experience creating requirements documents, 3 - at least one project working on ecommerce site.
