Hello! My name is Isabel, I am a P.E. teacher in a High School here, in Spain. I also am a mum of twins who are 5 years old. My husband and me are looking for an au pair and Michelle, our current au-pair is helping to find a good one. Here you have the ad we put in Gumtree a few days ago. Great opportunity to live and work in the south of Spain as an au-pair to wonderful 5-year old twins (one boy, one girl). Position is live-in and requires you to carry out 10 hours general household cleaning per week plus play with and look after the twins for 20 hours per week. Total of 30 hours per week, the rest of the time is yours. The children both have an excellent level of English for their age and your role would involve helping them to maintain and improve all aspects of their English. The family would like someone from the middle of September or the beginning of October 2012 until June/July 2013. Payment: food and accommodation are free plus 70 euros per week. The family are also happy to pay a gym membership if this is something that interests you. The parents are so kind and the kids are smart and incredibly cute. In return they are looking to welcome a friendly, enthusiastic and motivated au-pair into their home and become part of their family. The family live in a house (where you will have your own room) in Puerto de Santa Maria, a beach town on the south coast of Spain. Applicants must have English as their native language. The children may be required to be collected from school therefore applicants must have a valid driving license and be comfortable driving in Spain. Non-smokers only. Applicants must be able to attend an informal interview with myself, the family's current au-pair and with the mum of the children via Skype. Spanish is not necessary as the family speak good English. Family would prefer a female aged roughly between 21-27.
