Personal Assistant to the Group Finance Director
The hours of work would be 9am-3pm Monday to Friday and we could provide flexibility in hours out of term time for the right candidate. This role is a 12 month contract to cover Maternity leave. The Role The role essentially is to support the Group Finance Director in her role. It is a very varied role which will offer new and exciting challenges to the right candidate. The role consists of screening telephone calls, enquires, requests and handling them when appropriate. Organising and maintaining diaries and making appointments. Liaising with external support companies i.e. Insurance brokers, travel companies and arranging travel and accommodation prior to business trips. Supporting the Group Finance Director with company secretary responsibilities and liaising with the board at times. Producing documents and briefing papers, reports and presentations. Dealing with incoming emails, faxes, post and telephone calls on behalf of the Director. Liaising with other members of the team, accounts, support centre staff and finance. Organising and attending meetings and ensuring the Director is well prepared. One of the key aspects of this role is to support the Finance Director with future acquisitions, completing and co-ordinating research projects and reporting your findings back to the FD. The Candidate 5 years experience working as a PA within a finance team, ideally at a senior level is essential. Experience of Project co-ordination, Management and research is essential. IT Literate in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. Plus excellent communication skills. Experience of working with a wide range of people at all levels. The ability to work on your own imitative, to tight deadline and manage your own time is essential . An Understanding of confidentiality issues and the use of discretion. Flexibility and adaptability to juggle a range of different tasks.
