An exciting and rare opportunity for an experienced Supply Chain Manager to join an established but growing International business. This role is an interim role for approx 12 . You will contribute towards ensuring maximum satisfaction with all European Customers on product availability by balancing factory production and logistics to make a make a fundamental impact on the whole European business. A fast moving, changeable market place will ensure you the challenging task of improving supply chain planning,from order to Delivery and logistics planning to enhance overall sales performance. With proven strong project management skills, you will be able to proactively investigate and identify current issues in the motorcycle supply chain in Europe and initiate creative solutions for implementation. You should have experience of working as part of a small team with good knowledge of order to delivery process, logistics and demand and supply chain. It will be advantageous if you have worked in either the automotive or industrial equipment business sectors. Meticulous and logical thinking, you will possess excellent numerical and logical analytics skills with very high level of accuracy. A natural communicator with strong negotiation skills, excellent written and verbal communication and the ability to lead and motivate a small team. Whilst supply chain management knowledge and experience is essential, TQM, Six Sigma or a Prince 2 qualification would all be useful but are not essential. You will be graduate qualified or equivalent Suitability for positions will be judged on relevant professional criteria relating to knowledge, skills and experience and there will be no discrimination on any other grounds.
