AML Compliance Consultant- Large Financial Firm Our client is a premier financial services institution that provides a wide range of services worldwide to a substantial and diversified client base that includes corporations, financial institutions, governments and high-net-worth individuals. Overview: The Name Screening Utility of AML Investigations is responsible for reviewing all search and investigative requests received related to: client derogatory news; public figure news; OFAC/Sanctions matches; and all FINCEN and Legal search requests. Alerts and escalations are received from Operations, IT, Client On-Boarding & Maintenance, and other parts of AML Investigations. The Name Screening Utility is also the NAM Financial Intelligence Unit’s primary liaison with Global Sanctions Compliance and the owner and maintainer of all AML control lists. Duties and Responsibilities: Review information/documentation currently on file to assess adequacy and determine what updated or additional information/documentation is required Perform research using internal and external sources Use standard templates to produce and distribute requests to BU and clients for required information / documentation Liaise with Sales, clients and internal departments to obtain required information / documentation and explain the requirements where necessary Review and approve information/documentation obtained Update proprietary systems with information/documentation obtained Provide status reports and escalate issues to management, as appropriate Enhance and maintain written procedures Requirements: AML/client on boarding experience Familiarity with AML regulations Outstanding attention to detail and analytical ability Ability to interact effectively with others across departments, regions and time zones Rate- 30/hr+OT Location- NYC Length- 6 months+ Please forward a Word copy of your resume to financial@tigerinfo.com Tiger Information Systems has been assisting job seekers with their search for Direct Hire and Consulting work for over 25 years.
