Our client is seeking an intermediate-level PC Technician for their Woodland Hills, California location. This role is 20+ hours per week during regular business hours. There is possible travel to remote company sites in Costa Mesa, San Diego, and El Segundo. The PC Technician is responsible for providing direct installation, diagnostic and problem resolution for all personal computer (PC) hardware, related PC peripheral devices, software and network services for all employees. This position is also responsible for providing installation, diagnostic and problem resolution relating to network servers, cabling, interconnect facilities, printing services, data protection, data recovery services and remote communications as directed. The role has minimal supervision and general direction, performs work that is varied and moderately complex, and implements designs or approaches developed by others. Specific Requirements (required unless noted otherwise): 2 to 5 years of professional experience in a related field of the primary product, program or technology Ability to function independently and produce results that meet standards of quality, timeliness and acceptability Ability encompasses broad knowledge of concepts, practices and procedures within particular field of specialization Skills with Windows XP Experience with desktop support, laptop deployment, and work tickets Knowledge of Microsoft products Familiarity of Microsoft to include Office 2007, Visio, Project, etc. Knowledge of software Familiarity with software installations and un-installations Familiarity with working within a corporate environment Due to the environment, experience in a large corporate environment Ability to work unsupervised Ability to follow direction as well as defined by the company; technicians may have to work unsupervised and required to be able to make decisions in regards to the proper diagnoses or fix without enlisting a higher level technician Knowledge of PCs (laptops and desktops) Knowledge of PC equipment and how it operates with the Windows 7 Functionality and troubleshooting skills as well as applications working in conjunction with the OS Similar company experience is preferred
