How would you like to spend the summer 2013 working with children in Kenya?Change Africa Foundation is a UK registered charity set up to try to address the poverty, education and ill health in Kenya. We run a centre for orphaned children in Kisumu in Western Kenya and are now recruiting a limited number of volunteers. The programme will run for 3 weeks in February and 6 weeks in July 2013. Four weeks will be spent working in the orphanage and with the community in Kisumu. The last 2 weeks will be spent in Nairobi where we will visit Nairobi slums and orphanages and do some touristy things e.g Safaris Masai Mara.To engage in cultural exchange and skill sharing in a variety of settings, including schools, communities and children's homes. We aim to form and maintain long and lasting relationships with volunteers,local community and organisations to ensure a sustainable positive impact.
