SYSTEMS PROGRAMMER DB2 IMS SMP/E New York City, NY SYSTEMS PROGRAMMER DB2 IMS SMP/E Major firm located in New York City, Downtown is seeking a Senior Systems Programmer (DB2/IMS) for a six to twelve month plus contract position. Qualifications for this position will include: The firm is seeking a bright, creative, responsible, conscientious individual with strong communication skills. Required Skills for this position will include: Five years of experience as an IBM mainframe systems programmer in a DB2 and IMS environment using SMP/E. Several years of experience as an IMS database administrator. Installation and maintenance of mainframe DBMS software (IMS and DB2) and tools. Experience with DB2 Data Sharing, Workload Manager, DB2 subsystem performance and tuning, and capacity planning. Prior experience with any of the following would be a plus: BMC and IBM DB2 tools DB2 SQL performance analysis and tuning All candidates must possess a green card, ead or be of citizenship.
