Describe business - I am a self-employed plumber who uses various calculations to work out heat loss in properties. This allows me to correctly size the appropriate radiator for each room. Type of person- I am looking for someone who can create a windows based application that I can install on my laptop making my job quicker and more efficient. Job description- I have created a basic spreadsheet to show you a typical layout on how it might look. I have included 3 attached documents to be used for information retrieval, (ventilation heat loss, u values and heat loss with correction factor sheet). If you go to /featurepages/Heatloss.cfm you will find an example of what I'm talking about. Detailed information – Starting from the top of the spreadsheet- On the spreadsheet where it says dining room, I would like this to be a drop down list of all rooms available which are found on the ventilation heat loss sheet. When you select the correct room I would like the relevant info from the attached sheets to be entered into the appropriate locations. For example - if you select dining room then the internal temp would be 21 and air change would be 1.5, (external temp is always -1).plus whichever room is chosen the same info also needs to appear in the ventilation calculation further down. The same situation applies in the next cell down where it says component. This information comes from the U-values sheet. For example you would choose "wall" plus the correct description (i.e. 9" solid brick) then the correct u values can be automatically entered. The room volume is entered manually. The flow and return temperatures also need to be selected from a drop down list but would like them to default to 75 & 65. The actual temperatures should be taken on site manually and then entered. Box E29 is where the correction factor goes. This comes from the MWT-Room Temp (c29), the corresponding number is then found on the second spreadsheet (MWT). This number needs to then be entered into box E29. This will then give you the required radiator output for that room in cells C30/C31. I would also like an install/uninstall feature included. One last option I would like is to have a save feature which would allow me to create a customer folder and then save each room to said folder.
