Wanted experienced and referenced web graphic designer for re design and development of new functionalities for an existing E Commerce site, which is undergoing significant change and brand development - www.makoosh.com This is an initial project job, so would be ideally suited to a Freelancer, but there would be the opportunity for long term commitment, if the candidate was successful. There would also be the option of profit share. You must have a range of successful development projects, ideally in the retail sector. To create new and innovative graphics for web based products and new and dynamic functionalities. Experience and Skills Required A highly creative and imaginative approach to design and how it can be applied to the user experience and dynamic content. A strong understanding with relevant experience in the use of Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator. Further or Higher level qualification in a design, graphic or related subject. Practical experience in the application of User centred design principles and engagement with aspects of User Experience Visual communication to produce visually engaging, intuitive user graphic interfaces. You will have creative licence to be as innovative and daring, as the new concepts require this. Portfolio: showing examples of work from previous commercial projects and other design experience Experience of working on commercial websites/services and/or software, would be ideal :) You must be based in the North East too.
