Active Directory Engineer - LDAP
Need Active Directory Engineer Expert who has worked in LDAP environment to work in the secruity group. Windows Security Policy Enforcement Information Windows Security Engineer- Description The Information Security Department is responsible for managing security technologies. This includes architecture, design, implementation, and support of security controls in relation to Access Control Management. The department is responsible for insuring confidentiality, integrity, and availability of systems. The Senior level Windows Security Services Engineer is responsible for enforcing the Policies laid out by the Policy team. This will include developing and reporting on controls related to the individual policy items as a member of the Policy Enforcement Team. Part of this accountability will also be the responsibility for working with the business explaining the Governance around the Policies and Standards The security engineer is required to have a broad depth of security engineering experience not limited to access control security as he/she may be involved in other security projects and tasks. He/she would be responsible for leading efforts in designing, evaluating, and supporting new security technologies as well as handling day to day security consulting work. Other responsibilities would include consultation and collaboration with architecture, network engineering, messaging, enterprise server and workstation areas. Must have excellent verbal and written skills and be able to communicate across boundaries. Qualifications The successful candidate should exhibit the following skills and abilities: Good working knowledge of Active Directory, with an emphasis on object management, user administration and auditing. Good working knowledge of Windows Security, and Windows/AD security best practices. A working understanding of the LDAP protocol. Moderate Experience in Windows and Active directory administrative Scripting. .net / powershell preferred. Strong Logic and Analytical Skills The ability to articulate security principles to every level of end user. Ability to work successfully with others in large and small teams. Ability to motivate and inspires others to perform at a high level, taking appropriate risks, and accepting personal accountability for actions and decisions. Assertiveness - Ability to troubleshoot incidents until root cause resolutions. Strong oral and written communication skills and ability to transform technical knowledge into business language (e.g. reports, presentations, etc.) A strong aptitude and attitude in learning new knowledge in information science and Information security. Ability to work in a dynamic team across different disciplines and be self sufficient. Bachelors and/or Masters Degree in Engineering, Computers Science, or related field, with 3 - 5 years of field experience preferred
