TAD PGS, INC. is currently seeking a Network Enginee r for one of our clients in Fort Meade , MD. We are currently seeking for a contract employee to support the our client in ’Fort Meade, MD. In this position you will be responsible for system administration and network configurations of the Lab systems, equipment, and operating systems. This position may require occasional travel to participate in various Working Group meetings. This is a fast paced and highly visible program requiring personnel of the highest caliber with extensive knowledge of operating systems and network configurations used within the DoD for testing, evaluation, and certification of State-of-the-Art programs and systems. Required Skills Extensive knowledge of Virtual Private Networks (VPNs), VLANs, VoIP, routers, switches, servers (Windows and Unix), intrusion detection devices and firewalls. Configure routers using JUNOS and Cisco IOS for MPLS, IPv6, BGP, OSPF, QOS,ISIS, Multicast, and voice applications. Configure user accounts and support IA testing using PKI, Radius, and 802.1x. Knowledge of and understanding of Wireless 802.11 standards, and web based technologies. Understanding of multi-level security environments. Assist test teams with test equipment configurations, review test plans and requirements documentation and develop/implement test architectures to meet requirements. Implement various security postures according to DoD policy. Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a professional Information Technology (IT), Information Systems (IS), computer, computer science, computer systems, or similar IT/is technology degree. An industry recognized IT, IS, or computer related certification such as: Security+, Network+, CCNA, or other type of certification. Must have a DoD Secret security clearance. Required Experience Must have at least 10 years of related experience in area of specialty; IT, IS, or computer field. Extensive experience with DoD systems and networks with expertise in Windows Server 2000, 2003, 2008, Unix (Solaris), Active Directory, Group Policy, TCP/IP, LAN/WAN/MAN networking, OSI model, SNMP configurations, software imaging, OS server/client installations and their configurations.
