Sr. Capacity Planning Engineer/Project Manager Responsibilities: Strong communication skills to build relationships and understand business demand, risks when it comes to capacity planning. Hands on experience in developing application/network performance metrics development, application system network and capacity monitoring, statistical and requirement analysis for network infrastructure Must have implementation skills to implement industry standard capacity monitoring tools. Work closely with engineering staff ,development and architect group to understand the capacity growth and business forecast required for launching different business initiatives. Have an understanding of storage area networks, large scale storage arrays, CPU Utilization, etc. Experience modeling capacity of distributed systems from capacity planning & management perspective. Experienced in reviewing requirements and specifications for potential performance risk Knowledge of project management methodology is a big plus Experience in an ITIL based environment is a big plus Required Skills: Education: Bachelor of Computer Science or Network Engineering or Information Technology 5 years’ experience in Capacity Management in a large operations environment. 10 years industry experience Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proven ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships. Ability to think independently and render quick, accurate decisions. Proven effective customer service techniques and communication. Ability to work as a proactive, resourceful, cooperative and respectful team member. We are an EOE!
